term 1, week 2
Every week, i have two lessons of literature.
This week my first lesson is about 'Cinquain'. Cinquain is a type of poem but it doesn't rhyme. It is also easier to understand. After that Mr Chua gave us a task. We were told to do two cinquains . Each cinquains were given a topic. The first topic were about our name and the second topic is about literature. We were told to pass up by the next lesson.
The 2nd lesson Mr Chua told us to hand up our cinquains to our literature representative and that is 'hidayah'. After that, Mr Chua told us who is shakespeare. He is actually a popular author.
Although he is a popular author, i don't know him because i don't read books. I really don't like to read books as I always don't uinderstand what I read. After knowing who is Shakespear, we started on one of his popular story written and that is Macbeth. After that, we were told to draw the illustration of Macbeth (ACT 1 SCENE 1). This homework gives us an idea of the Macbeth (ACT 1 SCENE 1) so that we could understand. This task is to be handed out by the next lesson and that is week 3.

Last year, my literature teacher was Mdm Anisah. She is not a fierce teacher. My classmates including me all did not pay attention in class when she was teaching. We all walked around as if there was no teacher in the class and did not do all of the asssignment given. We only do all of the important things . The ones that we think is not important we will not do. When it was the end of year examination, we did not knew what to write. I failed badly. I got 39/100. I was reprimanded by my parents badly. I regreted and was dissapointed on myself.
This year,my literature teacher is Mr Chua. My seniors told me that he is a fierce teacher. I my opinion, Mr chua is not a fierce teacher. He looks fierce but in class he is very caring and helpful.
I learnt that we cannot judge a book by it's cover.
This year, we are learning about shakespears. I did not knew who and what was shakespeare at all.
My intention this year is to pass my literature badly. To pass, i would have to pay attention in class and do all the assignments given. I should not also play around in class.
I will try my best to pass literature this year ! :)
